Sproti: Innovation & Entrepreneurship committee

Sproti is the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Student Union at Reykjavik University (SFHR), working to promote entrepreneurial thinking across the university.

The committee manages Seres, Reykjavik University’s innovation and entrepreneurship center, and assists students in applying for workspace to develop their ideas and projects.

Sproti organizes a wide range of events, including talks and lectures featuring prominent figures from industry and the startup community. The committee also regularly invites students to site visits (vísindaferðir) at Seres.

Additionally, Sproti collaborates with KLAK – Icelandic Startups in organizing Gulleggið, Iceland’s largest entrepreneurship competition. Sproti co-hosts the university’s largest industry visit of the year – the Gulleggið Vísindaferð – in partnership with KLAK.
